WORLD PREMIERE SEPTEMBER 25 & 26, 2010
In 2009, Rosalia Maresca hugged the score and said, “You deserve to have this produced… Why not?” She chose Director Constantine Grame, who chose Choreographer Jane Russell Geddings. They chose an amazingly accomplished production staff and cast demonstrating very exceptional talent… right here… at home in Tampa Bay. The World Premiere production took place on September 25 & 26, 2010 at the Palladium Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida. It was produced by Florida Lyric Opera’s Rosalia Maresca and Freedom Found, Inc, with Director, Constantine Grame, and Choreographer, Jane Russell Geddings as the World Premiere performance for audience of about #600 (two shows) with 55 cast members.
“The Florida Lyric Opera is privileged to present the World Premiere of FREEDOM FOUND. This is not only a delightful cultural event but a powerful message for today’s youth.”

"I particularly enjoyed the FREEDOM FOUND MUSICAL scene depictions, by set design artist Barbara Griffith, painted in a simple, childlike, style effective in reinforcing the theatrical genre of imaginative fiction."

“I was deeply moved by the FREEDOM FOUND MUSICAL DRAMA as a magnificent World Premiere production by Constantine Grame, Director, and Rosalia Maresca, Production Consultant. The voices were fabulous, quality of music superb, and acting exceptional. I was especially moved by the depiction of pure innocence of childhood with spectacular children and the portrayal of courageous, tough choices of young adults with such remarkably talented youth.”
